Amazing Omakase Experience! Chef Chris is really knowledgeable and truly a hidden gem in Richmond. Premium selection of fresh fish, uni, you name it.
Hands down the best place to go to. -

A great Japanese restaurant, I love the food there! Suggest you try their fried goose liver with toast, very tender and juicy. Sashimi has a lot of selections, I tried saira sashimi for the first time, all very fresh!

A friend an I went down to Richmond one evening to try out some good quality sushi, and we chose this place as it was open on Mondays (other popular sushi places weren't). While my friend ordered more than me, I still spent a bit more than my average meal trip. I saw it more as a flavor experience rather than a filling meal. They had so many appetizers on the menu, and a good amount of stuff on the menu that looked interesting. The daily special didn't have a price written on the board, and when my friend ordered two prawn he wasn't expecting to pay $33 for them.
I instead ordered the Unagi Oshi ($16) with a Hamachi and Enagwa roll ($9). The Unagi was based on eel meat that was lightly cooked with a blow torch and it just melted in my mouth. The two other rolls we're solid pieces of meat, but nothing extraordinary like I was hoping. The Unagi Oshi had a much more defined taste, and I wish I had received more of them. I also attached a picture of the prawn dish I mentioned earlier.
The sushi was good quality, and there is plenty of stuff on the menu that looks like they are quality items. If I were to recommend advice to customers, I would avoid the single night rolls and get something more special that the restaurant offers. I personally would have preferred more special pieces. The service wasn't that great either in my opinion, as they didn't really make it clear how expensive my friends dish was going to be (the board in the room also didn't say anything). -

- good food and service
- nice variety to the menu
- LOVE their baby octopus karaage
- LOVE their deep fried mochi
- pricing is somewhat pricy but the portions are ok...best to order a bunch of food to share
- I wouldn't mind coming back and try out some of their other dishes -

Sadly short on time but just wanted to say the ingredients and dishes here are amazing!!!! Fresh seafood prepared with care and nice presentation. Great service, definitely pricey, but so worth it if you can afford it!
I'll definitely be returning!
